Sven Lorenz is a graphic designer, photographic designer and communications specialist with many years of experience at the intersection of visual design, strategic communication and artistic photography. As the founder and owner of the communications agency artwork, he has been developing concepts, brand identities and communications solutions for decades. In parallel, he pursues his own independent artistic and photographic work, focusing on urban spaces, architecture, perception and surreal visual moments of everyday life.

Artistic focus
Sven Lorenz’s photographic intention is the search for the unreal and the surreal within reality. He turns his gaze to the surprising aspects of everyday life and to the architectural landscapes of urban environments. The focus is on delicate, often undiscovered structures and forms that manifest themselves in poetic interplay or in a tense contrast with human existence. His works operate in the borderlands between perception, reality and the real.
